    An experienced business consultant, researcher, mentor, motivational speaker and a trainer with over 30 years of professional experience with the Government, Parastatals, Private sector, Women Business associations, international organisations and Development partners at policy and operational level. Well conversant with local regional and international trade, multilateral trading system specifically in trade facilitation and trade negotiations. The expertise/skills were acquired through working for the Tanzania Government Ministry of Industries and trade as Assistants Director, Tanzania Trade Development Authority as the first woman Director General, Founder and Chairperson of Tanzania Women chambers of Commerce (TWCC). Tanzania Portland Cement as Regional Marketing Manager, Support Consult as Deputy Director and International Business Management consultant and Researcher. As a regional consultant she had been commissioned by the International Finance Institution to facilitate establishment of Chambers of Commerce in Fragile States of Chad, Somalia and Southern Sudan. While with TANTRADE she successfully facilitated cross border regional trade through linking local Small Businesses with Regional & International trade organisation for Expo- trade fairs and trade missions that led to increased market penetration and growth of local small businesses. She is the author of UNCTAD Trade Negotiation series NO:5 on Mainstreaming Gender into Trade and Development Strategies the case of East Africa among other publications. She holds a Masters degree’ in Business Administration from the University of Dar-es-salaam, Diploma in Marketing Management l, Diploma in World Trade Organisation trade agreements and a number of short courses in leadership, gender, marketing, negotiation, decision making and Team building skills to mention a few.
