Anasia, has a Ph.D. in Agriculture and Food Economics from the University of Reading, UK. With over 20 years of professional experience in the agriculture sector in Tanzania. Anasia has hands on experience in agricultural value chain analysis, agribusiness assessment, policy analysis, project management cycle and report writing skills with ability to inform different stakeholders on how the economic factors shape the implementation processes, outputs and outcomes of the planned agricultural economic development interventions. She has strong personal commitment to use her knowledge and skills to challenge the processes of eliminating the marginalization of the disadvantaged and poor, especially, those that emerge from young people and women, who are ill-informed or undergo prejudicial perceptions of social difference, e.g. gender, age, ethnicity and disability.
